I feel a bit like a modern day Holly Golightly at this moment.. Sitting alone at starbucks drinking coffee and eating a croissant after a late night out with my friends- All while completely overdressed of course. Though while Audrey has New York City as her backdrop I have a college campus... I guess I can't win them all!

ReplyDeleteHmm I love that scene in the movie where she wakes up late for her prison visit and has to get ready in a hurry, then emerges from the bathroom looking perfect and beaming and asking the guy, "How do I look?" I'd like to think I've had one of those rushed "getting ready" moments where I emerge looking as good as she does. :)

I've come back from clubbing in the wee hours of the morning to go into the coffee shops just opening to grab a hangover bacon sandwich.... that's about as Holly Golightly as I get....

hahaha those movie moments are great - i get those ocassionally! and dressing is fantastic fun - you should never regret it! overdress more often!

Eh, I usually go for an Egg McMuffin with only the egg on the English muffin. That's the truly classy breakfast after a late night. Haha. :)
