  7. I really enjoyed the movie - she had a somewhat tragic life personally because all the men in her life let her down. No wonder she learned to be such a tough business woman - she had to look out for herself and believe in herself!

  8. This movie was alittle slow moving for me and the actresses accent were very thick. I know using French actors lend to the credibility of the movie but it made it hard for me to follow at times. I also wish there was more scenes focusing on her creations.

  9. Fashion is everywhere! Its in the air! Its in the streets! It has to do with how people feel and how they think! Look around, fashion is everywhere!

a touching movie about a woman who overcame poverty and the many heart-braking tragedies in her life, to become the most successful and powerful designer of her time.

btw there's also a movie out called "Valentino: the Last Emperor," its an autobiographical film about the designer himself. check it out! ;)
