"You didn't find this bag, This bag found you"

Photobucket

This is possibly the coolest marketing idea EVER. At age 20 I still don't get tired of the scavenger hunts my Aunt Beth throws for us during holidays. So, this grown up and fashion filled version of the scavenger hunt spurred by handbag designer Rachel Nasvik has me wishing again that I was spending my summer in the city.

Over the next two weekends 96 handbags will be hidden around New York City in everywhere from trendy bars to hot dog stands. The bags are stocked with essentials for a night on the town; lip gloss, bobby pins, accessories, and personalized playlist. Follow their twitter for clues to finding one of the bags for yourself and check out their blog for pictures of discovered bags.

If you're in New York you should totally make like Nancy Drew and play detective & find one of these treasures! Good Luck!

xoxo, lauren
