Sometimes i feel lke I should have lived in the 80's (I was born in '89). . I would have been all about the hair bands, aqua net, and ripped leather; so tacky but so awesome. Definitely some wild times! Obviously this behind the scenes video of V Magazine's "Come on Feel the Noise" editorial captured my heart.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely the 80s. I basically live in leggings and off the shoulder tops. People always say I remind them of the girl from "Flashdance." So yeah...I definitely should have lived in the 80s! :)

ReplyDeleteI was born in the 80's and obvs grew up in the 90's and i think my style deffo shows that with a mix of the two.
ReplyDeleteSaying that i take great inspiration in the victorian era in terms of clothing- Sherlock Holmes, dirty street urchins and Mary Poppins are my style icons (don't laugh).
The decade i WISH i could pull off however is deffo the 70s- a mix of punk, disco glam and 70's hippy :)

Ahh love it. Know how you feel, I always felt I should have been born in the regency era or the fifties--they're my favorite fashion wise!

I wish I grew up in the 80s, too. I was born in 1987. Nothing beats the awesome fashion of that era in time.
