This set was inspired by an editorial I spotted (& loved) in Vogue Paris' April 2010 issue featuring Natasha Poly. Stripey knits, harem pants, fringed bags & some major statement jewelry are set against an equally as colorful desert backdrop. Plus what can I say, the girl knows how to work a camel!
Are harem pants better suited for the desert & fashion editorials or could you work them into your real life wardrobe?
xoxo, Lauren
P.S. Congrats to Fashion Court for winning the "Color Me Coral" Giveaway & check back for another awesome giveaway at the end of the week!

OMG there are soo many ways to rock harem pants outside of the desert. high heels are key to pulling them off! :D i reallly like the style of harem pants! :D capri harem pants are the easiest to rock i think because pair hem with a high pair of heels and the outfit is GOLD! :D
ReplyDeleteLove the shoot. Some harem pants can work in real life I think, especially with heels! xo

I don't like harem pants, because I have naturally short legs and I don't know why anyone would want to make their legs look short like mine!! I'm constantly trying to make my legs look longer, which harem pants are definitely not known to do.
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that the model has her legs apart for each photo, really I think the key to pulling off harem pants because it shows that your legs don't start where the inseam starts!
But, maybe it just takes time to get used to the look. I have changed my mind before...
i love these photographs.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
