Trend Tracking: Pastel Hair

Lately, pastel colored highlight hair has been popping up on runways, editorials, and hipster kids everywhere. I don't know if I'd have the guts to rock it, but it certainly looks cool on film. I think it has a really futuristic, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century feel to it.

What do you think about candy colored highlights & hair? Would you put a few streaks in your hair, or will you leave it to adorable Abbey Lee (above).

I kinda like it! Maybe just the tips, my hair is medium-blonde and could use some pale pink ends! Hmmmm...

Hmm I don't know if I could pull it off because 1) pastels usually don't look so hot next to my face and 2) I'd have to bleach out my dark Asian hair before I dye it...very damaging potentially. But mad props to whoever can rock this style!

ZENON! oh how amazing the Disney Channel used to be...
I would love to at least give it a try with non-permanent hair spray paint or something.

She IS adorable, and I love it on her. I just don't think I could settle on a color that would flatter me and go with whatever I feel like wearing that day, so nope, I am not gutsy enough. And I have tattoos!

I think this trend is great for blondes, certainly not for me because I´m a certified brunette. ;)

I LOVE pastel hair! I would definitely add pastel to my hair, but I fear it would look awful with my skin tone/hair color.

first of all, i love that you mentioned zenon - my favorite disney channel original movie!!!

i love the look of pastel hair, but would have to bleach it first to get the effect, and dont want to risk it going wrong. i have never dyed my hair and dont want to until i start graying, but i do have an urge to put a blue streak in my hair!

Nothing for me and actually no other woman, older than 16, should follow this "trend".
In my opinion it just accaptable on girly girls in thir rebellion teenager years.
Runway shows okay.

After some “Cotton Candy” Manic Panic I was still waiting for my pink hotness… What’s the harm in believing? Even though this product doesn’t last long, I still like it’s initial vibrance and practicability of switching colors.
