Summer of the Sunglasses

Photobucket
My grandparents lakehouse in northern Wisconsin is one of my favorite places on earth. My family has been coming up here since I was a little girl. My time here is spent boating and swimming around Indian Lake & treasure hunting at the weekly flea market.

Being up here gives me a literal breath of fresh air & some piece of mind. I also, like to look stylish lakeside. I decided to go cheesy Americana and rock an american flag bikini with solid red bottoms & denim shirtdress coverup. The sunglasses that Angel Eyewear sent to me were my constant companion during my solo kayak rides & boat rides with the family.

My nana has some pretty sweet sunglassses too. It's always so great to be able to spend some time with my family and slow down from the chaos of life!

Where do you go to "get away from it all?"

haha that American flag bikini is so patriotic it's kinda hilarious and cool at the same time! You're lucky to have such a great refuge to get away from it all!

I love the sunglasses line. To get away from it all, I go to my living room - shut the blinds, curl up in a snuggly comforter, turn the TV on, and shut my cellphone off haha.

I've found this great new styling program online. It provides you with a customised style guide tailored to suit your body shape and age. It's really affordable and I just feel amazing with my new look. It teaches you to make the most of your wardrobe and how to shop smarter so you're not wasting money buying clothes you're not going to wear. You should have a look and see for yourself www.myprivatestylist.com

I couldn't believe it when I saw the first picture in this post...because that's pretty much exactly how my grandpa's lake cottage in northern Wisconsin looks! It's so crazy :) But I always love visiting there (usually for the 4th of July also!) every summer and swimming and boating too.
