SunDIY Crafting: Friendship Bracelets

I like the idea of spending my Sundays relaxing & getting a little bit creative. Last weekend that meant a glass of vino, stretched canvas, and oil pants with a friend, this weekend I'm going to attempt to diy some super trendy and inexpensive "grown-up" friendship bracelets.

This editorial image is exactly the look i'm going for; SO perfect for summer:

These are some of my bracelet inspirations from a few of fashion's most talented DIY bloggers:
via Dismount Creative

via Studs and Pearls

via Honestly WTF

Have you been feeling crafty lately? Share your fave DIY projects with me!

xoxo, lauren

I love friendship bracelets! It brings me back to my childhood :) But there's no reason that a 23 year old can't still make & wear them...My cousins always make me cute ones & they just learned how to make them out of duct tape and it's actually really cool. It doesn't even look like duct tape at all! She's supposed to be making me one so if she does I will share :)

Every time I see an editorial or ad with lots of bracelets I think of you :)

I literally just found my string collection from sixth grade and was planning on making some! Talk about perfect timing!

I can't wait until I'm out of school and Sundays are for relaxing instead of stressing about homework!! I love the bracelets with metal hardware incorporated-- especially the ones from Honestly WTF. I've been meaning to make one of those for myself for some time now!

P.S. Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I love bracelets of any kinds (and lots of 'em) so I will have to figure out how to make these! I love the one from Studs and Pearls.

These are great! And bring back such good childhood memories- I only knew one pattern and I wasn't very good at making them but sitting around talking with all your girlfriends is great at recess or as grownups!
