Vintage photos are often my best inspiration when it comes to fashion. This beach photography from the 50's/60' is so inspiring. I love the striped boat neck tees, curly bobbed hair, polka dot motifs, and one piece maillots & swim skirts
the oh-so-gorgeous, Grace Kelly.
Looking through all of these photos can't help but remind me of Seaside, FL one of my favorite places on earth. It's a beautiful beach community designed to have a perfectly fifties feel, from open-air shopping plazas, to big striped sun umbrellas to watercolor beachhouses.

These pics are LOVELY and they make me want to move to the beach... or, okay, lay lazily on a beach for hours... stat! Seaside, FL looks like the most picturesque place ever!
