Knotted Shirts & Maxi Skirts

I can hardly believe that summer's almost over. It's been so much fun, and I've definitely enjoyed the warm weather to the max. It's already starting to cool off in Wisconsin, so I'm thinking of how I want to transition my summer wardrobe to fall.
How To: Transition into Fall
One of my favorite looks is knotted tees and oxford shirts paired with maxi skirts. It's been popping up all over the place in street style blogs and I love how it's such a wearable trend. These are a few of my favorite examples of the style in action:

  4. So sad we didn't get a proper summer at all this year :(. But I've enjoyed looking at everyone still dressing summery. Maxi skirt have been a great trend, and I love knotted tees.

  6. I love the way this looks, keeps maxi skirts from looking too overwhelming or frumpy

  8. I've worn the look a few times myself, and have loved it so I definitely plan to keep wearing it in fall. I also usually wear my sun dresses as an under layer in fall.

  10. I love oxford shirts for fall so this is a great look to pair with maxi skirts! However, I think I'd wear an oxford with a flowy mini because I'm not tall enough to work a maxi skirt!
