One of the fashion rule I live by, is trying to wear statement pieces whenever possible. In order to make super trendy looks accessible for us everyday fashionistas, sometimes all it takes is throwing on a bold earring, colorful pant, or a layer of funky nail polish. It's all about making the unique pieces stand out among an otherwise basic outfit and adding a dose of the unexpected!

I don't really have a statement piece, but I do love to add some red lipstick to brighten up an outfit! my wardrobe needs to be a bit more exciting.

My style is more practical/laid back (I live in skinny jeans and boyfriend cardigans), so I've been going to some type of a statement piece to just add a little something unexpected and to keep it from being dull :) These looks are (as always) incredibly inspiring! You have such a good eye for looks that are totally on trend, and yet easy to replicate :)
