I've been seeing the blanket scarf trend everywhere this past fall & winter, but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I found this pink & forest green plaid scarf from SheInside & thought it was the perfect way to wear the trend for Spring. It's an oversized plaid patterned tassel scarf and the pink, green & cream hues are a brighter take than the scarves in tartan & blackwatch plaid during the holidays.
I can't tell you how cozy this scarf is! I wear it just like this at my desk when I'm working during the day too. If you're petite, wrapping the blanket scarf around your neck can be totally overwhelming to your frame. The styling trick to pulling off the blanket scarf look (especially if you're tiny) is belting it across the middle with a slim fitting sweater layered underneath.

I've been wearing this scarf so much since I bought it that I think it's time that I pick up a few more in colorful plaid prints. I think the same goes for pink lipstick too- it seriously brightens up a winter outfit! The toughest thing is that I'm ready to start thinking spring but ... judging by the wintry backdrop behind me, it's going to be a while!
